With the right tools, whether free or premium, blogging can become easier and interesting.
In the series of My Top 5’s, the first in the list is My Top 5 Free WordPress Plugins.
All of the plugins I have listed below have personally made my blogging easy. They are free, simple and easy to use. With a little bit of customization and I’m good to go. No coding whatsoever.
First off, what’s a WordPress plugin and why is it so important?
A plugin is a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a WordPress website. They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites.
And now for the main thing, here is my top 5 Free WordPress Plugins;
1. Google Analytics Dashboard For WP (GADWP)

It automatically inserts the tracking code in every page of your website. Once connected with the Google Analytics, your stats are always on your dashboard. It is free and easy to install and configure.

Contact Form 7 is a plugin that will help you bridge the gap between you and the users who who would like to contact you by sending you private messages.
It is free and simple but very flexible.
If you are looking to create a Contact Me/Us page with a contact form embedded without writing any code, this is your plugin. Once installed and activated, you can always insert it on any page or blog post.

MailMunch is the best free plugin to collect more email subscribers.
It has beautiful signup forms and landing pages that integrate with the popular email marketing services like Mailchimp, MailerLite, Constant Contact and much more.
In the updated version, they have also added the autoresponder features that makes it more handy for email marketing needs.

4. Yoast SEO
Yoast SEOis all-in-one SEO solution for WordPress, including on-page content analysis, XML Sitemaps and much more.
The free version provides you with a checklist to help you write a blog post/page whose readability is great and also SEO friendly.
